moster-ific kids

busy. so very very busy. i'm rushing around the office, trying to finish up most of the work left for me while i was off holiday-ing. it wasnt much of the holiday i wanted but nevertheless it was a holiday. i just completed a presentation of a upcoming project and a new company profile! i taught my lil monster-ific kids at the english tuition centre and they are just soooo adorable. heheh! "teacher! KL nice or not? got present ah?" monsters! ahhh!

following dad these few days got me learning quite alot. basically about what are the other projects his working on and the people he usually deals with. its a bit scary...making me feel like i'm already officially working with him in his company. *shudders*

i had very little time for anything else other than to work from morning till evening. and then i'll do more paper work in the night. * screams : COLLEGE FASTER REOPEN LA! PLEASE! * sad isint it? actually it isnt too bad. this kinda makes me feel like i'm getting familiar with how a company is run. hahah! makes me sound oh-so-responsible eh? really i'm not!

Lucky, my dog is orite! after being sick for the last few days... now, he's the hyper lil mongrel tht the whole family loves. the house was awfully dull without him running in and out the house and constant nudging at your legs for a pet. and he seems to developed a new habit of whining to enter a air-conditioned room. this pet is getting very pushy... heheh!

i got a simple butterfly tattoo on my right wrist! while getting that done, i chatted non stop with georgine! hehehe! missed her like crazy! actually... i was so talkactive... we're both talking non stop since she fetched me from my house till One Utama. madness... thats like more than half an hour of non stop blabbing with just Georgine! then we met up with Kok Thong, Wai Xiuan and another fello at the tattoo parlour. then met Don! gosh... they've changed so much... one added on abit of weight *thts an understatement by the way! nyahahah* and the other had a very rugged hairdo. hahahah! i miss primary skewl days la... hahah! when we all were cute, neat lil things. i thot we were having sooo much fun talking about the good o days when they had to spoil it for me by saying they remembered my 'exploded' hairdo back then. it was ala afro la! hahahah! the bill was three hundred sumthing i think... i wasnt really impressed by Paddington's waffle house... maybe my expectations were too high.. hehe!

Ooo! i had lotsa fun playing pool! wait.. was it snooker? i dunno la... its the smaller table.i think its pool gua.... not sure XP , i was Kok Thong's partner for the first round and we won! then for the rest of the afternoon, i was with Don. i contributed a fair share of missed shots but we still won thanks to the guy's pro skills! LoL!
Don was such a gentleman to offer me a lift home * thank you lots!* but gosh... i hope his bumper is orite... he reversed into my mad, bias, OTT,unreasonable neighbour's car *serves him right!*. o wells.. at least we got away with it! nyahahaha!

i enjoy not being in the picture once a while but rather, the one taking pictures ... be it in shopping malls, in the crowded marketplaces or just a flower beside the highway.

it may sound odd to alot of people, but i do feel a certain happiness in doing so. being able to do something that is so ... free? something which nobody can control u of... and being able to capture a moment in time and natural beauty on a piece of glossy paper...

i'm not a pro in photography. but i believe i dont need to be one to enjoy taking pictures. just like many things in life... you don't have to be a pro to enjoy doing something you want.

i'm uber happy here cuz... i got an AMOIZING amount of angpow cash! loads of family time, cravings for grandma's home cooked meals satisfied and waaay too much shopping! *insert madly haaaappy smile here*

i'm not gonna reveal the amount i spent on shopping... its abit too surreal to me. i cant believe myself! where did all the money gooo!? i bought myself a brand new polo luggage bag(large), branded clothes, bags,shoes, lots of accessories (yessss! yes! yesssss! love love love!) and toiletries( parfum anyone?).

i got the chance to meet up with ben, my best bud in Mid Valley. havent got the chance to see him the last few times i came back to KL. its been... two years since i last saw him. gosh... i was reli happy seeing him. i'm impressed wit the driving and still, the chun crappiness. went over to Starbucks for coffee. my feathers were ruffled by an idiotic waitress behind the counter who thinks i dunno wad i'm ordering. confirmed with me the same drink four times and worse of all, said : " miss, DO u reli know wads a expresso machiatto?" wtf man! i'm the customer, gimme wad i want la! i'm paying u for it! omffffg... i was so pissed. but got on talking to Ben just fine. i admit i was being a dodo, talking abt myself first when i shud be talking abt him. bleurgh... i hope i'll get to see him again soon. like he said, we shud've pulled an all night talk thingy... i dun think its enuff tho... hahah~

harvest of angpows are reli good this year... shopping is reli good this year too... food and family time, good...friends? owh shyt.

walks in KL

i feel reli happy back here in KL. i missed the Switchfoot concert but... who cares? my flight was delayed and i arrived home at two a.m. got to see my darling sisters and fav grandpa+ma!

i brought alot of seafood back and had to take abt thirty minutes just to figure out how to fit six packages into two fully stocked up refridgerators. yea... grandpa+ma has two new HUGE fridges ...AND ITS FULL! *gasps* so i had to take out some stuff and rearrange it just to accommodate my stuff. grrrr......

went to church and gosh.. it was sooo fun to see all the familiar faces! surprise surprise! lots of smilling laughing and hugging. owh! i got to see Sara http:// sara-ying.blogspot.com before she leaves fer penang then to Australia! SOBZ! took some pictures wif her... gonna miss her loads laaa! T.T

sat in Caleb's car wit Joseph,Mark, and Sonya. *insert many lame goofy moments here* dropped Joseph home and off we went to Bricksfield to have authentic indian mamak lunch! whoa! it was really something out of the telly! they use banana leaves instead of plates... on it would be rice, three kinda side dishes, indian crackers and soup! its reli cute! i dun think the yogurt with rice was to my liking though... heheh! but it was about trying it out! and they have pickle sauce in red! its reli sour but darrrn! its so good la! but with Mark, Caleb and Sonya there made it more memorable. went off to KLCC, many thanks to Caleb. and Sonya is such a sweet lil gurl la...

there are loads of reli nice furniture and interior decos in KLCC! i'll bet daddy wud've gone gaagaa over 'em. then while waiting fer caleb to come back after dropping off his sister, mark and i went to the Petronas art gallery! fab place... but why cant they let me use the camera to take innocent lil shots?

chee cheong kai wasnt as fun as i thought it would be *a tad dissappointed*... cuz Caleb sed all the pirates have already ran away and some stall owners have the tendency to shout/slap their customers O.O scarrryyy la weiiii~ going around in LRTs are reli fun.. u get to sightsee so much faster and cheaper and.. omgosh, its like a rollercoaster ride, jsut tht ur standing instead of sitting.

if i had to walk around KL again on my own, without Caleb or Mark! i would either :-

1. get run down by a bus
2. get knocked by a car
3. freeze in the middle of the road
4. get mugged
5. run away from a begger (he was scary, okay!)
6. end up in the wrong LRT station
7. spending WAAAAY more for the things i buy
8. come home broke, dead-tired and traumatized

i missed grandma's cooking! its so yummy! she can make all kinds of dishes and her soup beats my mo...er, nevermind. i'm chinese, i love soups! she's the best! yum~
